Default 2005 Mustang RPM Climbing in neutral??

Hello,

I have a 2005 Mustang 46000kms and tuned with the SCT 87 octane tune, BBK CAI and flowmaster muffler. Heres what is happening: If I am coasting in neutral, when I let the clutch out the rpms rise to 1500-2000 until i come to a complete stop then they calm back down to idle (800ish). Does anyone know why this is? Is it a problem? Thanks.

I recall hearing that it's normal and that Ford designed that as a rev-matching (for nothing else to call it) function of the PCM programming. Hopefully someone can chime in with a real, technical basis for it.
