Default sporadic power drop

My 2007 GT has recently been experiencing some kind of intermittent power drag like it does when the ac compressor kicks in. It is not the compressor, as far as I can tell.

Possibilities: Bad injector? fuel filter needs replacing? throttle body/MAF sensor cleaning? bad throttle control sensor in gas pedal?

Anyone else had this kind of issue?

You say it's not the compressor (A/C) Does it only occur when the A/C is 'On'? If it does it's the compressor.

If it doesn't make any difference if the A/C is on or off, then I'd look at other things.

I am almost positive that it is not the compressor. I'll double check. Maybe it has incurred damage from working so hard in the heat wave.

Can you be more specific on the symptoms? Is it in all power ranges? Amount of throttle? In a specific gear? Perspiring minds want to know...

My guess is having the AC on + heatsoak.

Mine does the exact same thing. I am pretty sure it is only when the A/C on. I had the problem a little while ago about RPM's bouncing around when A/C on. I cleaned the TB and fixed that, but I still have the other issue.
Any help is appreciated.

It's God's way of telling you to upgrade to a 5.0.

And how did God manifest himself in telling you to upgrade as well?

how many miles on the car? I would probably do plugs, fuel filter, spray out the maf with maf cleaner (or any residue free quick drying contact cleaner,) reset your computer, and redo your pedal calibration.

this all assuming you have enough miles to warrant that but for about $100 and 2 hours of work you cover a good amount of all the basic problems that manifest in this way, and are just good things to have done anyway.
