Default 2007 Mustang convertible top tear

Hey all I have an 07 mustang and I went out to do my usual check of my car and found these two little tears in my car. Should I be worried about further rips and is it possible to fix this.

Thanks

Are my eyes bad or just the picture? Could you locate the tears for me with arrows? All I see is what looks like a slight rub mark.

I've got plenty of those all along my roof and have had them for 2 years. Nothing has happened yet. I may just get sharpie soon though and color in the white that shows haha

I thought that was sort of a tear I guess. It's the first one on my car, so I freaked out lol. But just wondering if that would lead to anything else?. Is there a way I can fix that or just leave it alone.

Personally I'd leave it alone. Nothing has happened with mine yet and I use my lid quite often in nice weather. Just keep an eye on them if you're worried, but you should be fine

Yeah, that's not a tear. The outer part of the material on the "piping" (I think that's what that's referred to as) has worn. It's obviously a rub point during movement of the top.

You'd better get some Xanax handy for that first ding.

Lmao Xanax. At first I thought Xanax was something you suggest to use to fix the top lol. Yeah I'm probably going to need mental help after my first ding. Maybe a sanitarium . I been ding free since Jul 07.
