Congrats!!!! Some gears will wake that beast up... window tint, lowering springs gears, exhaust... that should be good to get things started!! hahahaha best of luck with your tight new ride!! CHEERS!!!(miller lite in hand raised)... check out the H&R supersport springs... i have them on my ride now... they imo make the stance look the best out of the others.. i use to have steedas and they werent as low as i was looking for..these are right about a 1.7" up front and 2 1/2" lowering out back.. really levels the car out and eliminates the wheel well gap.. handling is definitely stiffer and more solid feeling than stock

Congrats, I know you've been working on this for a while. Did you purchase it from Apple Ford in MD?

You'll have an easy time building this car out, it's such a good starting point to begin with, and there are endless choices for more power and handling. Just what you can order from Ford and Ford racing now and in the near future will be awesome.

You can't go wrong with this car as an initial start. Erik

Thanks everyone for the support. Yeah, I've been talking about picking one up for about a year now. Just had to wait for the right time and enough for a good down payment. Yep, got it from Apple Ford lol I actually drove about 40 miles to get it cause it was basically what I wanted (the only sucky part is that I really wanted the Saddle interior color. Also the glass roof woulda been nice too) but basically it's what I wanted to have.

My nephew just picked up a 2001 red convertible (i think I got him into the whole Mustang thing haha) and man, driving that and the 2012 really is a total difference. Crazy to think what 10 years difference in cars can make. As to the whole "oh this has a solid rear axle so it handles like #*@!", the log in the back seriously doesn't bother me.

Time to update my sig too haha.

Also, just realized. I have a 2012 GT yet, this is the 2005-2011 section. Why no love for the 2012's?

You're right. This section should be titled "2005 - Current Mustangs" until the next generation models come out.
