This car worth it?

I wouldnt even bother. 73k miles is sorta high IMO. I bought my 06 GT in 09 with 15k miles for $15.5k. There are plenty of cars out there with way less milage for good prices. Keep looking dude, dont be in a rush and you will score a great deal. If your paying cash you have the advantage too.

I'd sell you my car for close to that price the way it sits right now if you were close enough. I'm about to part it out and trade it in if I can't find a buyer for it by the next couple of weeks

New paint is why you need a carfax. It will show you if it's been in a reported accident, of been to a body shop or other major repairs. There have been some flood cars that were dried out and sold, only to cause terrible problems down the road. If you notice, most good dealers just outright give you the carfax as part of the transaction. That's who you want to buy a car from. That dealer has nothing to hide. PLus, I was given advice a long time ago. It was, always buy a used car from a new car dealer for 2 reasons:
1 - They only keep the best trade in cars.
2 - They have their New Car license to protect because it cost a lot of money, they don't want to get caught selling a shady car.
