Default Am i getting hosed on '12 Price?

So ive put in my time did my test drives and have crunched some numbers. I havent signed the papers because i feel as if im slightly getting the shaft. None of the dealers around here have the color car im looking for so they have to get the car from another dealership 3 hours away. Same story from each dealership i have been to. Im planning on going back in on weds and i know im having to pay for them to get that car to this dealership. Should i go in guns blazin and tell them im not paying for it to get shipped down here? Technically i can wait until a dealer does get what i want because i am in no hurry. What are the chances i can get the dealer to junk this fee. Im not sure exact number being charged, i will find out when i talk to him again, but as of right now i would be paying 23600 for the base v6 automatic.

Three hours....I would go get the car from the dealer that has it. Do a phone call and see how the deal looks and have a sweet ride home. You can set the price you want to pay but must be willing to walk away to play hardball with them.

yup. drive to the one that has it. You can also play the " well the other place has it at this price and I don't care about the color " and get them to drop it.

Im not opposed to the 3 hour run to look at the car... maybe should give these guys a call. I have no problem just getting up and walking out so i guess time to dig in and play ball

When I worked at a dealership we never charged 'finder fees'! That's bs in my opinion. Go for a drive and enjoy the 3 hour ride home in your new vehicle.

That price doesn't sound bad to me, but you could probably talk them down on it.
Plus don't they have a lot of incentives on the Mustangs right now?

It says starting MSRP is around $22k on Ford's site, so with the auto that should be right at MSRP. Just try to haggle them a little bit, but it really doesn't sound too bad to me.
