Default 4.0 Mustang is it a thing of the past now?

Even though the mustang 4.0 is becoming a thing of the past especially with the new mustang 300 HP and up and also the 2014 rearing it's head in. I still love my car and would never get rid of it. I might get a second mustang (V8 obviously). But my 4.0 has got personality. What about the rest of you 4.0 owners you still love your car?

Of course! I too will buy another but will not get rid of this one.

With a few performance goodies, it makes for a fun ride. Still reasonably good gas mileage. I recently priced out a 2012 V6 Vert. Would sticker at $35K. With a BUNCH of goodies on the 07, I've got 19K in the car. I'm happy!

I love my 2008 V6 vert. The only things I miss are all the elctronic goodies. I replaced my basic stereo with a Pioneer including Bluetooth and DVD. Updating the dash to the Premium insert may be next. I already upgraded my interior with some leather premium seats from a 2011 GT Premium. I know, the back seat is different. but what I did was order the 2011 seat back and cushion for $200. That with the take off seats for $275 delivered has me with a nice looking interior.

4.0 Mustang is it a thing of the past now?

Not yet, but I'd say it will be in 1-3 more years. How ever long it takes for the 3.7L v6 cars to begin to truly hit the used market.

HA, if that's the case, imagine a SN95 or New Edge 3.8 Mustang. Esp the SN95 3.8's....slow as heck.

I love my 4.0.
Yeah its not fast, but I really don't give a ****.
It looks good, its very dependable, has a pretty nice interior for '05.
In short I love my car, the only people that don't like them are people that have never owned one. I'll most likely never sell mine.
