Also depends on a lot of things you might not think about, what you have in the trunk, how many passengers on board, how much gas, etc. They can add up. I had my girlfriend and her sister in the car the other day and did a hard pull onto the highway and it felt like the car was seriously held back. An extra 200+ lbs sitting in the car can make a felt difference in performance.
You forgot to add in your GF's weight.... lol jk

Yeah, it seems like science and chemistry has a lot to do with it.. warm start, cold start, temperature- all plays a big role.

I also, regardless of heat, on similar nights seem to have fun drives with the car were I come back thinking WOW! , this thing really kicks ***, and other drives I seem to focus on all the little compromises of building the car out, and don't feel it's a performance monster.

The reality is though, on days or nights when it is any where below 80 degrees and standard humidity, the car really is very fast and corners incredibly. Erik
