So we all have our good days and our bad days..

Yep, happens to all of us! Not really bad days as in the engine doesn't like to work hard sometimes lol, but as people have said, the external factors do exist and make a difference. I know sometimes I'll head out and immediately feel that engine wanting to just tear away, sometimes it feels like the engine is roaring but it just isn't putting out.
Also depends on a lot of things you might not think about, what you have in the trunk, how many passengers on board, how much gas, etc. They can add up. I had my girlfriend and her sister in the car the other day and did a hard pull onto the highway and it felt like the car was seriously held back. An extra 200+ lbs sitting in the car can make a felt difference in performance.

I also, regardless of heat, on similar nights seem to have fun drives with the car were I come back thinking WOW! , this thing really kicks ***, and other drives I seem to focus on all the little compromises of building the car out, and don't feel it's a performance monster.
The reality is though, on days or nights when it is any where below 80 degrees and standard humidity, the car really is very fast and corners incredibly. Erik
