Default 05-09 mustang Headlight switch with daytime running light?

Anyway a week and a half ago my headlight switch broke and I got a new one from somebody here in the forum. When I opened the box I noticed something weird it had a daytime light running option. Totally wierd cause I thought 05-09 mustang didn't have that option and 10 and up mustang's do. Anyway guys I am confused and need enlightment here. Also would this be plug and play?

I think it's a Canadian switch, isn't it?

If you guys are talking about the icon with the "A" in it on the left, I don't think it's for DRLs.

I'm Canadian so we have to have DRLs here and my switch doesn't have that icon on it. It does look like the Auto Headlight function on my dad's escape though.

If I'm on crack and that's not what you guys are talking about then I apologize

That's an autolamp setting, not a DRL setting. It's just like on my grandpa's Ford 500.

Agreed that the "A" looks like the auto headlight option on other Fords, but prior to 2010, there was no such thing on the Mustang, was there?
