For reals though, that would suck. But I have no problem breaking any law that tries to forbid me from doing something I like, so for me, it wouldn't be a problem.

There is about as good a chance of them (government?) forbidding modding of cars as there is them banning **** from the internet.

Ain't . . . gonna . . . happen.

Mods and technology adapt anyways. 500hp and 25mpg even 10 years ago would have seemed like magic.

your assuming that they would follow their own rules, look at Al Gore. But back to the main point you will always be able to modify your car, but not necessarily the way you want too. Yes there may be a day when the engine you have is all you get, assuming cars will always have engines and not run on duracells like people seem to push today. Modding is a broad term that would be difficult to outlaw, but restricting displacement and performance would be a simple law to create and enforce.

It would appear as if he has broken that agreement and changed his exhaust system; check his siggy.

Lol, you guys are fun...

Don't be too sure about no restrictions on modding in this Country with the way politicians get into your every move.
In Europe, Socialist Countries won't allow you to put a different tire size than the factory used.
They all do it of course (with better looking rims) but they keep the OEM wheels for inspection and swap back as soon as they get home.

And here in Fl, no inspections! yeahhh
