Default 2nd to 3rd shifts and throttle responce

Is it common on these cars to be a little rough on 2nd to 3rd shifts. Its just at crusing speeds not high rpm. It feels almost as though you could feel every tooth on the gear going in to 3rd. Also this is with the stock shifter, would this go away with a good short throw? Seems kinda odd for it to do this. Also is there a way to calibrate the gas pedal? This is my first drive by wire car and it seems slightly hesitant on throttle responces.

There is a way to calibrate the gas pedal.... Turn the key to "On", slowly accelerate with the gas pedal holding it down once to the bottom for about 5 seconds. This should calibrate the gas pedal, correct me if I'm wrong people!

And I am not sure why you would have those grinding issues going from 2 to 3, very common in the T5 but haven't heard much from the TR3650. This is a GT right?

What year are you talking about?

I'm guessing that you aren't talking about the 2002 listed under your username, but you probably need to mention whether it's a '05 - '10 (TR3650) vs the '11 & up (MT82).

I have had zero trouble with my TR3650, although I don't abuse the synchros with dragstrip use or a similar sort of driving on the street.

On the other hand, some folks have had issues with the MT82, though, so you might try searching for 'MT82' or 'MT-82'.
