Picked up my 2012 5.0 last week
Just bought my 2012 5.0 Saturday August 20th! I got a base model 5.0 with the 6MT and 3.73s. This is my 4th mustang. I traded in my 2008 mustang gt and couldn't be happier with the 2012. Drove off the lot with 6 miles on the odometer. So far I've only ordered the 5.0 floor mats for it. Next week, I will have the windows tinted, and in the near future I will get a CAI and a custom tune and a short throw shifter.

Congrats! Is this your first black car? PITA to keep clean - I have black too. When it's clean it's the best looking color. But it doesn't stay clean long. Maybe you can go fast enough to just blow the dirt off. :-)

Thanks guys....shoeys, I know what you mean about the '08, I can really feel the difference in power. My 2008 was a nice car, but this one feels totally different. The new 5.0 feels so smooth compared to the 3v 4.6. Kzonts, this is actually my 2nd black mustang so yep, I know it's a PITA to keep clean, but looks so sexy when it is. Thanks Templar.

Congrat's on your fourth 'Stang and short shifter? How short do you want it? The shifter on my '11gt is shorter than the "short shifter" I put on my '92gt.
I know what you guys mean about the black paint, I traded my '08 for the '11 and keeping it clean and spot/swirl free was a PITA!
