Questions on Guages.

SO I have decided my next investment for mods will
be a set of gauge with a pod.

I was going to go with a vent gauge pod but it seems you cannot
direct where the air goes and that is important down here in TX where the weather is hot.

So I want to go with the Shelby gauge pod that sits on the dash.
But... I don't like the styling of the gauges themselves.
I would much rather have an easy to read digital gauge reading.

Are the Aeroforce Interceptor Gauges good for digital gauges?
Also... what is the best wideband AF gauge to get?
I understand the 110-10 GT500 have something you don't have to get that the 07-09 GT500's MUST have in order it to read the wide band.

Also... would these gauges actually FIT in the empty Tri-pod
Shelby gauge pods they sell at Shelbyperformance parts? As far as size and fitment?

What I really need is a breakdown of EVERYTHING I will need for this
project, the exact gauges (which wide band, etc), and exact wires and extra hook ups for the wide band to work correctly on a 08GT500.

I plan on Either boost/wide band af/ and oil pressure, OR boost/wide band af/ and fuel.
Which one of the last two... fuel or oil, is more important to go with?
Or would one of those gauges be able to show me BOTH fuel and oil on one gauge?

Thanks for the help!
Also if anyone knows what price range I am looking at I would appreciate it! Thanks!

Ive heard nothing but good about the Aeroforce series, which are now offered on AM. Plus you get 2 metrics per guage. The guages can also be switched around to read different metrics pretty easily so ive hears. I personally like the look of the Autometer mounting which is offered in black and silver

I really Have no experience with this and wiring leaves me skerred. But I didnt want you to feel unloved.

I'm in the market also..There are a ton of choices, from old school gauges to digital gauges to WB on your IPhone....I'm on info overload.
But to answer your one ? The 2011 have a wideband already built in, so you can just hook up the gauges to read. Earlier models will need a wideband installed, if you need all that info.

The Aeroforce gauges will give alot of data from the OBD. Easy to install from what I have read.

I'm looking at Fuel Pressure, Boost and either the Aeroforce or a DPIC.

Maybe the DashDAQXL....check that one out!

Use the search function and you will find several good threads.....

From what I have read the Autometer is pretty poor quality. Looks good in the pictures but not too nice when you get it out of the box. That's surprising since they make the gauges most people love.
I like the mounting area on the dash and will probably go with the CDC 3 Pod.

Dual-value VEI gauges in a SOS dash pod, and boost gauge in home-made vent pod.

This is the route I went. Haven't installed yet, but it looks pretty nice. I am hoping to install it next week.

Hrm what about the question I had about them fitting in a Shelby 3 gauge empty pod?
