Disc brake noise!!?? .....TSB for this

Heads up fellow 05er's .There is a TSB for our cars concerning disc brake noise. Seeems the culprit is the rear disc pads.I had my GT in to the dealer for this problem and they changed the pads. The tech said there's a TSB for this. Took care of my problem. Now it's quiet!

What kind of noise? Mine are still squeeking at 4300 mi but thats the only noise I've noticed.

If you have distinct squeek when you hit your brakes ,they shouldn't do that. It's the rear disc pads causing this. Take your car to the dealer and he will change them.I just had mine done yesterday. NO more noise!

The TSB is 05-18-10. it only applies to vehicles built before 3/8/2005.

what r they replacing the pads with, A better quality pad? Different material?

I would assume that it is a different grade of pad. All I know is it worked and my GT is quiet again! It was really bad ,especially if I had the windows down while drivin' .
