Default To louver or to not louver

Is this a fairly simple do it yourself or is it better to pay someone? Thoughts on louvers? Painted louvers? Thanks

I went with Silver Horse Racing quarter window and MRT rear louvers. Had them both painted at the local shop. I probably should have ordered the SHR's pre-painted. The MRT rear came black powder coated. Had the local shop paint them grabber orange and the stripe added at a graphics shop. They did a really good job. The stripe doesn't wrap around it ends about 1/8 inch from top and bottom of each slat in the louver, and he cut a U-shape around the brace on each side. I have had them on about a month and really like the way they look, and I don't think I could have tackled it myself. Put pics up when you get it done.

Louvers are one of the coolest exterior mods, IMO!

As far as installing the louvers... that's a DIY job. If you want them painted I would have them professionally done. I say go for it but then I've always like the louvered old school look.

I chose to louver and am very happy with the visual appearance. I ordered the pre-painted louvers from AM, which are similar to the Roush louver. I installed the louvers myself, however I would highly recommend using better double sided 3M tape and not the tape provided. Good luck!

If you don't mind me asking, what're you lowered on? Your stance and car in general looks amazing.

As for louvers, side ones you can get prepainted, the rear it's personal preference. As stated, if you want those painted go professionally. Oh and of course, if you want to do it, DO IT! I love the look of them and hope to get them some day.

Louver! Nothing changes the rear end quite like louvers.

I installed DG Customs in about 5 mins. Just clean the glass real good, treat the adhesive and stick 'em on. I love mine.

I was too chicken to install my SHR ¼ window louvers so I had Ford use their glass guy to put it in.
