Default Buying PA Performance Alternator

Hi Everyone,

So 6months after fixing the alternator, Im getting the "Check System Charging" again, So i just decided to buy the Pa Performance Alternator 6G Alternator 130 AMP (large case), could not find anything good and cheaper.

The page says:

"** We require that you upgrade the main power wire due to higher output than stock on vehicles where this is an upgrade**"

Does this is a requirement for my 2007 V8 GT and what does that means, how do i upgrade the main power wire if needed ?

Thanks!

Speaking of upgrading the power wire, what are the stock wire gages for the S197? And do the '10+ S197s have the same stock power wire gage?

Stock should be 8 gauge.

BTW, you should look into doing the Big 3 Upgrade. It def helps alot.
