Default Very noisy diff/rear-end

I finally fixed my tranny and clutch problem by changing the whole clutch for a new one, it now work like a charm, my only concern now come from the diff, it happen on highway only and only when i got the feet on the gas pedal, you hear a loud noise that sound like the wind, everytime i lets the gas loose the sound is gone but come back immidietly when i press back, it a constant sound that whine/wind while cruising, my mecanic tryed it and said this might be cause of my 4.10, might have been not installed perfectly or it just loud cause of all the big suspension mod i have on the rear end, ill post pict of it soon. Any guess?

Another sound i hear from the rear end is at very low speed when i do big turn right or left, the rear end make a big sound like a rusted door that open and need some lub. Another of my friend say this might be normal with the suspension build i got, it like if the rear is working to make everything balanced in the rotation while turning? Thanks guys!

Take a look to my ads picture, the last two are from my suspension rear view, im not sure what are the part and cant upload the pict

The first thing I would do is change the differential fluid, being sure to use Additive Friction Modifier along with the regular rear axle lubricant. See what that does and proceed from there.

Well it looks as if you have went with a more solid rearend setup for control arms/panhard, pretty much the whole getup. That will make any small noise more pronounced than the factory suspension setup as it takes out alot of the dampening effect the stock rubber bushings have. Hate to be cliche but turn the radio up. Odds are unless it really is extreme noise, the noises would be unnoticeble with a stock suspension. We changed my setup to a UPR solid mount/control arm setup and I hear every single noise that the rear makes now.

thanks alot man, i dont really mind the noise, well I do a bit but the only real reason is because I though it wasnt normal, but now knowing this can be due to the huge after market suspension and not because there is something defect, it is actually good news It just hard to justifiy this to a potential-buyer since the car is for sale.. thx again

It sounds like the gears are not installed perfectly .. Even the slightest hair off will make these things whine. Talked to the guy who installed mine and said the fords are pretty tricky differentials to install. He put mine in and and to redo it with a brand new set of ford racing 4.10's. and he's been doing this 12 years straight.
