Default It happened again

Well I have had the torque convertor and afco dual heat exchanger installed for about a month and a half now but still have not been down the track. i work a non tradional job where im in north dakota for two weeks and then home for one week. So when the track is open when im home I pray for no rain but guess what the track was open today but it rained so I didnt get to go play with my no mods. It would have been a great day. it was around 72. A bit annoyed but what can u do. I have until midway through november to get a few passes so that gives me two more times to pray for no rain. You know if it was father nature instead of mother nature I wouldnt have to worry about the few days that i could race being rained out

If it makes you feel any better, all the tracks in my area were flooded out. (Stupid Missouri river...) and are now piles or rubble!

Sucks, but on a side note how do you like the afco? Do you feel it really cools it alot better? and is it the dual fan, or just the standard dual pass?

Its the dual fan and yes I think it works good. On hot or even 90 degree days my car was getting to 170 175 for inlet temps. I havent been close to that. And when i get done with the car and it sits and heat soaks itself. The inlet temps are high but they come down within a few minutes. So yea it works.

I was going to data log my IATs with my Saleen heat exchanger, I thought about upgrading to an AFCO depending on the results... But I would go with just the standard GT500 heat exchanger w/o the fans. Hopefully you get your car to the track soon! Do you have any pictures of the heat exchanger installed?
