Default How much louder will my car be with cams?

Hey guys, I'm really interested in getting some NSR cams for my car but I'm worried about how much they will increase my cars overall volume. I recently got a "loud exhaust" ticket, so this is what has sparked my new concern. I don't think there is such a thing as too loud

Yes they will make it louder especially if running a offroad h or x pipe.

I'm looking to get either FRPP Hot Rods, BBR Stage 1's or Brenspeed Detroit Rockers.

All nice cam choices

I know on the LS engines a cam can really put the sound level over the edge, but I don't believe it's as bad with our 4.6's. Hell, I'd say just go for it. You've got the catted x, you can always spend a tiny bit more money to quiet her down later if need be.

Amazing looking car, by the way!

Thanks guys, the only problem is that I don't think that my side exhaust leaves me any room for resonators If I would happen to need it. On the upside I've found a Kenne Bell 2.6L blower for $3000 so that might be next on the agenda.

It's a **** ton louder at idle, but I'm not sure if it's much louder when accelerating/normally driving.
