Default Hp concerns for gt500

What needs to be done for my 07 shelby gt500 to be able to handle 800-900 hp? I already have about 700 & i want more. I know what im going to put in the engine to get 8-900 hp but i know i cant just do that without disaster occurring. So control arms, upgrade the clutch? I just dont want to mess up anything & turn my 11 sec car into a 11 min car.

you have 11 sec car and 700 hp? You need to learn to drive it! Should be in the 10's.
But if it's mostly stock, it won't be 700.

Seriously though, if you're intending to make mods to eventually get to those power levels, a properly-built engine, capable of supporting 1000 hp or more, will be the safest option for reliability of the engine.
Other suspension changes would be needed if you're having wheel hop or other related issues.
A better clutch is not a bad idea either.

So how do you propose to get to 700 hp? 800-900?
..and got pics?

I meant to put 10 I'm doing this off my phone at work. Anywho I have a 2.6 supercharger pulley, tensioner, idler kit, new plugs, cai, sct tuner with race & street tune & a Borla axle back exhaust. I plan On adding headers, x pipe, cam, throttle body, heat exchanger & eventually upgrade the supercharger. But I've been told to order control arms from steeda & I've been lookin at a stage 3 clutch from lethal performance. Just posting this to see if I'm missing something & to get ideas. I'll upload pics on my next reply when I get off work.

for starters, you're going to need a much bigger SC. or a big turbo or TT.
you wont be doing 8-900 hp on the stock eaton.
how do you get 700 hp from a pully/CAI/tune?

You aren't getting 700RWHP from a pulley,CAI, and tune.

Sorry that is B.S. and I'm calling it out right now.

Read my post again smart *** & if you pay attention I never said RWHP. Sure I didn't specify but that wasnt the point of my post. If I had 700 RWHP then I would have reached my goal hp. So if you don't have any advice on parts to handle that much power shut your mouth. I've done a dyno I know what it's pushing. Im not so incompetent that I think pulley cai w/ tune will give 700 to the rear. I'm a ford guy not some pos chevy that exaggerates the potential of his camaro or vette.

And I sure that people are going to be just going to be jumping at the chance to help you out with that grown-up attitude. If you can figure out how to buy a GT500 and get that much hp, then I'm sure you can use the search function to figure out how to get it to the ground.

Good luck with that.

Well just to clarify things, most people that get into the horsepower debate and questions refer to RWHP not crank HP. The only time crank hp is brought up is when talking about new cars/stock ratings from the factory.
