Default New Hood, Front facia and grill advice

Hey guys, I've had a terrible experience. Someperson backed into my car. Bent my hood and broke my front facia. Their paying for all the work. Im going to change out my stock front facia grill and hood. Ill pay the difference. The reason for this post is im looking for some advice. The car is at the dealer being fixed so I just need to tell them what pieces I need. Its a Special Ford dealer. They have all the roush gt500 and saleen parts there. Im a big fan of the gt500 front facia with the bullit grill. Im not really sure what fits and what doesnt. Do you guys have some cool pictures you can show me of what you have and what exactly it is. Im also looking for a unique hood. Something other then the stock gt with a scoop. Thanks in advance Do the 2010 gen hoods/facias fit on my car? do the gt500 ones fit on my car?

Thanks
Kevin

ps. my car is a 08 mustang gt

2010 won't work. 07-09 GT500 front will, just search around, there's a list of all the parts you'll need. It's the best looking front IMO but it's not necessarily cheap

If you want the GT500 stuff, you have to get it all. bumper, hood, grill, headlights, etc etc. The parts are not easily interchangeable.

Personally I think you should go with the GT/CS front bumper. Personally, I think it looks better then almost all of the aftermarket bumpers, and it is a simple bolt on compared to 3K in GT500 parts/paint.

As for the hood, check out cervinis. They have some cool stuff. I plan on the 67' hood when I can afford it.

And 2 last things:
1. When you put the new bumper on, leave off the front plate. If a cop stops you and warns you, buy one of the brackets that allow the plate to slide under the bumper, so when you are showing off the car, you don't have that ugly plate to look at.
2. And your stripes rock (though you should stripe the bumpers too!)

the back bumper is stripped. Also im getting this done through the dealer so they have to be able to order everything. It is being covered through insurance so I cant piece parts from all over. I need stuff I can get from them otherwise It will cost me alot of money. So Shelby, roush, or ford factory.

Do u have any pictures of the pieces your talking about? Does the gt500 have a bullit grill? Does anyone have a picture of the 08 version of the gt500 front end

Thanks,
Kevin

Well the GT/CS front bumper is Ford. It came on the California Specials. I am having computer troubles right now so I can't photoshop one onto your car, but for what it's worth, have this picture of my car with a GT/CS front, along with my awful hand drawn 67 hood. Hopefully it will give you an idea of what your car will look like, because we both have white cars with blue stripes.

I'll get working on your car in photoshop but I can't promise it will be done by tonight.

The only thing I dont like about that is how the mustang horse in the middle like that. Im just not really a fan of that design. I find the clean grill with nothing but the mustang/cobra off to the side gives it a mean look that i like.

Thanks
Kevin

Well it is the cervinis 67 hood, but I did it by hand, and it came out proportioned pretty wrong. In reality, I believe the scoop is 24 inches wide (not sure), but at the time, I assumed it was 18 inches for simplicity's sake.

Check out this link:

As for the grill, yes, that is actually my bad there. This was an older version of the picture where I had forgotten to change the grill from the pony pac
kage grill. I plan on a black billet grille with the tri-bar mustang set off to the side.
