Default used mycolor swap

I managed to get a mycolor cluster out of a wrecked 06 as well as a few other things. The mileage on it reads significantly less then mine so I'm wondering if I can get it corrected at some shop?I know the dealership can't do it and I will need to have the as built data loaded on it as well.

Honestly I would think the dealership would do it.

after numerous searches everything points to they can not because of odometer tampering laws...can anyone confirm or reject this?

If a used odometer is swapped in, the mileage difference is normally documented when the work is performed. If it is not disclosed upon a sale, then there could be problems for the seller. It gets done a lot....just have a good paper trail and keep the original one as proof of the differences.
