seeing you are from VA, this is a friend of mine's Terminator. but its sold already.
for $25k, it is a bargain. but not really a great DD. but i would love this Mustang or something like it.
the Terminator is the best bang for the buck Mustang you can find.
another friend of mine daily drives his Terminator and his Fox body is his race car.
personally, I love the look of the NE. my 2000 is a great DD, but my S197 is more comfortable and the ride is smoother.
thats a difficult decision.
if i got a terminator, i would definately make into a full race car.
the coyote, i would keep more as a DD.
deciding between a Coyote and a Terminator is a good problem to have.

It was orange with a black stripe.
That's what made me fall in love with Mustangs.
I saw it in his driveway and knew it was a Mustang but did not know anything about Mustangs really.
But this thing was a BEAST and I knew that much just by it sitting there.
And I knew THAT was the car I wanted and something about it told me it
was a dream car then and there.
Saved up my money... took my dad to talk with the guy and test drove it.
He drove it not me. I can still remember how it felt to ride in it and how AWESOME it sounded. This was back in the early 90's.
I had NEVER had interest in an "old" car before that.
I was young and had the mindset old cars were pieces of crap.
But I KNEW this car was special from the moment I first saw it
parked in his driveway.
Again I fell in love with it instantly. After the drive my dad got out and said, "That's one hell of a Mustang, but there's no way IN hell I'm going to let you buy it."
He thought it was too much for me being that young and it probably was.
Nevertheless I was heartbroken.
I still want to own that EXACT Mustang someday.
Later on the Shelby GT500 also became a dream car of mine.
Low and behold we have one now!
Hopefully I can also have that 1970 Orange Mach 1 with the black stripe and have
them parked right next to each other!
(I wouldn't trade the GT500 for it though... no WAY)

see i have a tough decision, i have a 2010 gt right now and im trying to sell it and save my money up this winter and buy a new car i have basically 2 options, 1. get a 2012 gt California special or 2. get a used srt-4 (i know its a rice burner) but it is fast and pay it off up front and rack some money up in the back, keep in mind im young and that my car payment is the only thing that i have to make payments on and the insurance witch is 200 bucks a month and if i get the mustang it takes exactly half my paycheck. and i know this is a cobra svt or 5.0 thread but i took the cobra svt out because they are pretty expensive and if i pay that much i might as well buy a 2012 gt cs.

Funny this thread came up cause when I was filling up at the gas station, a guy in a truck pulled up on the other side of me and when he jumped out and saw my car he said "I'll trade you cars" and I asked him what car he had and he said a Cobra. I said that's awesome and nothing else lol, wouldn't trade my car for anything but a Nissan GT-R.

2012 5.0 no question. Intake/Tune/Exhaust/BOSS intake manifold/4.10/Dr's... **** on everyone while enjoying your heated seats and the sync girl's sexy voice.

Starting in 2013, I will be looking for a 2011, something I can slap a big blower on and have some fun with. The target will be 600HP, and a DD. So my vote is with the 2012!! For the Termi, you pay alot more on insurance, because of the Supercharger (Insurance Co knows about them based on VIN I beleive). Do the 2012!!

Did you hear about the MAJOR problem they had with the GT-R when it first came out. I dunno if they still are but here it is.
They have a button that is pretty much a traction control button.
When people turned it off LOTS of owners were having their transmissions go out. Well.. Nissan would NOT cover it under warranty.
They in fact had something in the warranty statement about them NOT covering warranty if you turned the button off.
So basically the button was useless. All it it turned out to be was a button Nissan put in to void warranties.
I've seen ONE Nissan GT-R. They are pretty cool but I like the 5.0, BOSS, and GT500 much better.
As far as looks... I like the Mustang better period.
What can I say?
I'm a pony car/muscle car look type of man I guess.
