5.8L Supercharged V8 confirmed for 2013 Shelby GT500

The 2013 Shelby GT500 will for sure be getting a supercharged 5.8-liter V8:

i'm glad Ford is going with bigger displacement and staying with a SC.

basically, you do what they did to the 4.6L->5.4L on the new 5.0L and that gets you 5.8L

I've heard from close sources ~600hp, should be exciting

I hope Ford keeps the HP a secret because GM will somehow find a little more for the ZL1......if you know what I mean. However, The Snake will still dominate. Just my two cents worth.
