About $200.00........ Actually, I think the metalic ones are made for boost added motors.

Metallic cats are for cars with superchargers and turbos cause they will melt ceramic cats

Ceramic cats are for n/a cars and are a decent amount cheaper

^ This.

The metallic are meant to be mounted behind turbos or close to hot manifolds and will also normally flow slightly better.

Ceramic are for N/A cars with lower EGTs and more of a need for backpressure.

I hope this helps!

I just installed longtubes and cams but need some cats back on the car. Too loud and too smelly. I was thinking of having the stock cats welded back in if they will fit. Brenspeed said it should be a problem performance wise. Anyone ever done this? I havent looked under the car yet to see if they will fit.

I had the same problems and had to install cats on my Pypes O/R X. The pipes on the stock cats are slightly bent and I wasn't going to be able to install them easily. I ordered the pypes cat kit from AM and sold the stock H-pipe. Its a simple install if you have a cutoff saw. They did end up cooking my feet though (extra fuel from cams maybe??) so I added some extra heat shielding from jegs.
