From what I see online it allows you to manually shift an auto trans without a clutch.
What is everyones experience with this?
Does it work as good and cool as it looks?
Not that I'm a big racer, but does this shave seconds off? In a video I watched there seemed to be a little delay after shifting before it went into gear.

Yes, very cool item for the auto...love mine!
Of course no performance gains and the lag you refer to in the video is typical with any manually shifted auto. A tuned transmission by someone like brenspeed or bama will help with this.

With a tranny tune from AM or Breenspeed tunes, this upgrade loses its appeal to me. I hardly ever (read once or twice in 7 months) have manushifted my tranny since I got my AM tune. Car is quick off the line and almost zero lag when I floor it while cruising.

Allright, so nifty to have but no real performance gains. Looks pretty damn cool. Thanks for the input.

I love mine, and even though I rarely shift, it is an eye catcher, and I get a lot of compliments on it.

It is fun to play around with though

A lot of money for eye candy. But if a person wants to add it, go for it. They do look cool. Adding the firm shift option is where you can gain some preformance.

Its worth it just for the interior upgrade imo. A real quality item. Ford should be embarrased with the plastic stocker piece.

Mayo, where did you get that 8ball ****?
Did it come with a 3/8" 16 thread adapter?
