For 2010+ Owners Who Have Changed to Aftermarket Stereo - Need Advice
I'm getting ready to swap out my factory stereo for an aftermarket stereo. My question is.... Am I good to go with the items described above without anything extra (special wiring harnesses, etc.)?
Here's what I have that will be installed:
- Metra Kit for 2010+ Mustangs
- Kenwood Double Din Unit (built in Bluetooth and Nav)
- Sirious Adapter
- Ipod Cable
- Backup Camera
Is there anything weird that I need to make all of this work? I've heard horror stories about people needing the 200 dollar adaptor in order to make the speakers work.

I haven't done it myself (though I plan to at some point). I have, in my research on Crutchfield's site seen that there is a harness needed to get the steering wheel controls to work, you may have to addthat to your list. Have seen nothing about a speaker harness.
