I have a 10 year-old Daughter and 3 year-old Son. I raised them to respect everyone and their cars. I make sure the don't touch anyones car and ALWAYS open the car door with caution, making sure not to hit anyones car, no matter what condition it is in. Fortunately, I know most of the kids and parents in the neighborhood and they are very respectful. They usually wave and comment on my car as I drive bye. I pull straight in the garage with no worries. I had a couple of teens ask me if/when i am planning on selling my car, they are interested in buying! =-)

Someone mentioned penny throwing! I had some redneck's kid roll the window down on their old Blazer and chuck a penny at me while I was riding a racing bicycle a few years ago. Little did they know, I was capable of going well over 40mph down that hill and I glued my *** to their quarter panel the whole way down...probably could have gotten hurt if they wanted to throw something else, but it felt GREAT to freak them out when they couldn't get away from me!! :-)
