Default Hoodpins or lettering...

So I love the look of hoodpins with lanyards,

right now I have the appearance stick-on hood pins like they sell on americanmuscle.
Mostly for the fact I don't want to drill holes in my hood...

I plan to upgrade in 2-3 years (possibly to a gt500...more likely to an 08-09 GT)
and I'll need every penny I can get on the trade-in. Obviously hoodpins will decrease the value of the car..

So I've been thinking of getting rid of the stick-ons, and tossing the idea of hoodpins altogether.
And instead getting the chrome "MUSTANG" lettering across the hood lip..(like the older models had the F O R D across...)
It'd be much more unique than hoodpins, and a tad bit simpler..

Either way I need something on my hood to give it more...snaz? I don't like the look of it empty..

So what do you guys think?

I've also been thinking about hood scoops, although they're too expensive for my taste at the moment.. (next big mods are the GT500 rear valance).

Opinions?
Hood pins?
Mustang lettering?
etc?

Also,
where can I find the lettering? CJpony parts has the FORD lettering, but not stick-on mustang..

I like the hood the way it is, clean and simple. IMO I wouldn't put lettering on the hood, instead I would add some stripes that go along with your fender hash marks . Overall it is your car so ultimately do as you want.

Stripes are too common. I wanna be more unique.

I'd stay with the hood pins and forget about the lettering.

Cut a hole in it so that you can see the engine...

What about continuing your hash marks till they meet on the hood or into 1 wide stripe?

I'd get rid of the phony hood pins and no lettering at all. Nice clean look!
