Default Air/Fuel Ratio - Is this about right?

Hi Guys,

I just got everything together on my car. Yes, Finally!! I have the Brenspeed Blower Cams, the Roush M90 and the VMP500 HP Kit. I asked VMP to tune for the cams.

My AFR gauage is showing about 13.5 at idle and is running around 14.4 to 14.7 while driving steady state.

If I floor the car, it shows 7 PSI of boost and the AFR is right about 10.5 steady.

Sometimes the car runs more around 14.3 at idle, but then it kind of loads up a bit and drops to 13.5 again, however I expected that given I am running the blower detroit rocker cams and idle is set at 650 RPM.

Anyway, what do you guys think? Are my AFR's in about the right place?

I only see above 14.7 if I am off the throttle and if I am all the way off and the engine is slowing against the car it will jump to 20, but I figure the injectors are probably off then anyway.

What do you guys think? The throttle response is perfect!

the norm is around 14.7 at idle , but A/F is only critical under w.o.t. 10.5 is on the rich side . send Justin a data log and he should correct for ya

Justin has instructions he can send you I believe or there is a link on his site but 10.5 is super rich. Ideally 11-12 AFR boosted.
