i want to go to the track tomorrow but high is going to be 45 degrees. is there such a thing as being too cold for a supercharger? also i have the I.A.T. relocated into the intake manifold if that matters. i have the 550 h.p. whipple s/c and a dyno tune. my best is 12.004@122.84 mph and i want to break into the 11's. i have nitto NTO5R drag radials. also what is the best way to get the nittos sticky?
+1, although I do not have personal experience. I do hear Nittos are generally harder and thats why they last longer. To get them sticky try a John Force style burnout lol.
Where are you headed tomorrow? Is see you're in Pittsburgh, so I assume a track closer to there? I'm headed to Beaver Springs tomorrow with some of my local club members, the reason I ask...
Hmm Cool. Ours is a test and tune as well. I'll have to look into the Pittsburgh Raceway. I'm from Johnstown originally and go back quite often. Have a good time!
Your mph is way high for your ET. You must be spinning bad. Definatly some MT ET streets would put a smile on your face.
I'm not sure about when "too cold" exists. I always though it was below 50` but I'm no expert at cold weather. LOL Good luck, I think you'll get a new PB.
