70MM throttle and CAI questions
 

Just sold my 92 5.0 and bought an 07 4.6. Questions I have is, what is the benefits to going to a bigger throttle body? Also, is there any real benefits to putting a CAI in the 07? If so, suggested brands? I like BBK but damn they are exspensive for the year lol. I am also loking for some suggestions on looks wise that others may have done.

From what I've heard, a larger throttle body is only really good if you are going FI.
As for the CAI, usually any of the brands on Americanmuscle.com are good.
If you want more power you should buy a tune required CAI, and a tune to accompany it.

I personally have a Tunable Induction CAI (And BAMA tune), and my dyno numbers are the same as someone with say a BBK CAI.

No benefits to a throttle body or TB spacer. Save your money.

Big benefits to a CAI as long as you get a tune to go with it. Dont get a no-tune required deal. I have the BBK along with a Brenspeed tune and put down 300 to the wheels along with CMCV deletes.

^^ this. I've heard more bad about aftermarket TBs than good.

CAI/tune is the best bang for your buck besides F/I. Most of the improvement comes from the tune though so make sure you get one from a reputable company such as American Muscle or Brenspeed
