What Tint To Go With?

20% is pretty dark still. I have 20% on my 04 and 5% on my 06. The 5% is utterly black, nobody can see in whatsoever. 20% is still dark, gray or cloudy days nobody can see in and only on bright sunny days can they even see an outline.
5% def cuts down visibility in dark, 20% does as well but not as bad, 35% I couldn't tell much of a difference.
Check your state laws too to see what % is allowable. Ohio is 50% and I knew that when I got mine tinted so I fully expect to pay a ticket for it every couple years. Got away with it so far but have gotten two warnings in past 3 years.

yes, 1st keep it leagal.
i have 20% on my 2007, and 35% on my 2000.
i cant really tell the difference, except at night. the 20% is notably darker, but still manageable.
if you do a lot of night driving, 5% may be too dark.

I was thinking 20% all around, I do drive at night mostly on Sunday I drive from western nj to long island so I definitely need reasonable visibility. Anyone know what the average ticket would be and it doesn't add to insurance like a speeding ticket would right?

I have 5% and I love it... Really the only thats a real challenge to see out of is the rear one at night. You get used to it, and it by far looks the best. To each their own... Plus, it's funny looking over and seeing ppl looking at your car. You can see them, but they can't see you. It's like your own personal two-way mirror

I went with 35% and ended up ripping it off and having it re-done with 5%. I was so pissed cause it honestly didnt look like my windows were tinted and you could see in both night and day.
The only trouble like adidas said was seeing out of the back window at night, and I did get used to it but sometimes it is trouble. I will 90% go with 5% though again on my next car.
Just go with 20% if your worried. My gf has 15% on her truck and its pretty dark both night and day and not that hard to see out of. I just love the fact that no1 can see in my 5% =]
