It also looks like the trunk opening is a bit larger so a direct conversion kit would include the taillights, rear bumper, and a new trunk.

Damn, I was all ready to keep my '08 GT until the full redesign of 2015 and Ford comes out with the best looking rear yet! Now I am considering a 2013!

The 2010 - 2012 rear actually kept me from trading up when the 5.0 finally came out. Now the incredible new rear combined with the rest of the nice upgrades of the 2011 has me thinking! Nice job Ford! Glad to see that they do have ears and they are open!

Note: I especially like the fact that the reverse lights are completely hidden until they are activated! Very cool!

I would bet money the trunk is the same, as that would involve retooling the sheetmetal, which Ford would not do for a simple refresh.

Agreed, I think the tailights not having the sharp angle on the bottom running up to the decklid opening just makes the back part of the lid look bigger.

LOVE IT. Love that ford now includes the HID's as standard. One step closer to the Mustang fitting into the 21st century.

Does this mean Sterling Grey is coming back? I miss that color already. I love what Ford is doing here.

Now, it is not so easy to wait for the 50th Ann Mustang like I was planning. This 2013 is hot stuff.

As mentioned earlier in the thread, who has some inside guesses on what the GT and the GT500 will do in 2015, now that we have this actual 2013 improvement?

GT, GT500, power and engine improvement(besides direct injection), weight, launch control, damper adjustment, aerodynamics, looks.....??????? what are the most educated guesses from this point with both models? Thanks, Erik

Is is just me or does the GT/V6 look more aggressive than the GT500? The GT/V6 looks to have a more of a muscle car look. The hood and front end look like power is trying to get out, where the GT500 looks more sleek...much like the current GT500.

My guess is the '14/15 won't need more power if Ford has truly spent their time/dollars on a real IRS.

NO increase in power, NO powertrain changes, MINUS 200 pounds in a better developed IRas system = a "realer" sportscar than the '13GT500
