I had the hiss sound on mine before it was replaced as per Ford's TSB. I believe the hissing was a sign of the clutch not working properly. Could be wrong, but why would you want to keep that sound. How many miles do you have on it? It could be the clutch-drag issue, where you may want to take it into ford and see if it is covered under warranty. they will then give you a newer clutch/flywheel/slave etc all covered. I would do this, unless you know that it's because of mileage/usage.

I have google the sound befor and there are some raceing clutch's that makes that hiss sound when slowly relesing the clutch ford use the origanal clutch because of the hissing sound it made to mach the cobra snake thiem. I was one of the lucky owners that at 13k miles the clutch gave out do to a defect lucky tho that the week befor it gave out my dealer told me that ford is now covering the defected clutch. BUT the new clutch the gave me is good but it also took that hissing sound and i did like it since it did make the car sound like a snake so i am looking to bring it back and befor i forget my car has a lil over 19k miles on it and wile the clutch still is like new Im just looking into a more high performices clutch that might also make that hiss sound.

Why don't you just get a nitrous purge coming out of the snake emblem in the grille. My buddy has one of these on his GT500 and it looks sick and it will give you the hissing sound (much louder).

Purge kit can be installed that will not interface with the motor. It would be simply a noise and aesthetics thing, but that might be what you are looking for... No warranty worries, but kinda useless.
