My god I remember before I got my Eagle GTs, my pirellis were literally almost slicks. There is this one hill near my house man, and I almost wrecked 3 times before I got new tires. Then there was the time I was coming into school, and tried to turn, but kept going straight in my lane. Right through a red light. In front of the parking lot cop.

Yeah I very nearly bought the farm when I went home to CO for spring break and took a nap while it snowed at my grandmas house. 30 miles in 3 inches of fresh snow in a 1983 Porsche 944, I am kind of amazed to still be walking.

Im pretty sure that if it snows when I am in CO before spring semester, I am just gonna leave the car at home and either ignore/ blow off what I was going to do or get a lift from mom/ dad/ brother in an explorer

lol the problem is that you all are caught WITHOUT dedicated snow tires.. damn un-studded tires, with the right pair of snow tires you will be A-Okay

Trust me, I have been in some very questionable situations.. Yikes!!!

I agree with you - every time I see one of these "oh my god it is snowing or is going to snow how can I drive my Mustang" and the people saying it can't be done - well, when I got my license the only front wheel drive around was the Olds Toronado. And we sure as he!! didn't sit at home all winter or break out the horse and sleigh.

Winter driving takes a little bit of skill and knowledge is all. I bought the Mustang in April 2006 and have 190,200 on it now so have been through a lot of winter weather on my daily commute in SE Michigan. Haven't had any problems and I run on the Pirelli Pzero Nero tires. No extra weight in the trunk. The Mustang is pretty well balanced front to back right from the start and as long as you realize it will take more to stop the car and a light touch to get it rolling you will be fine.

Good luck with all that winter stuff. Glad to see you got the proper tires too.
