11's : 2011 GT, Nitrous. DONE! LOL. Kidding, a little.
I'm surprised no one has offered Nitrous though. Especially if you're only seeing the track a few times a year. It's quick, easy, and CHEAP! $1000 will buy you a GREAT and safe kit. It's VERY easy to install, and a re-fill of a 15# bottle runs about $80 (here in MD). It's an easy 100hp, and you don't have to have it all of the time.

You want a sputtering idle like mine?

Just kidding. You don't want that.
Since you are only going to visit a dragstrip a couple of times a year...I would turbo or supercharge with about 6-8 lbs. Likely not hurt anything. Don't bother chasing 11s. Having been there..done that... would not do it again.

If you want THAT kind of power from a 4.6, you're looking at some $$$ being spent. Like just about everyone else has said, $10k is about the middle of the road for parts and tuning alone. If you're having someone else do the work, add another $2-5k. And, for what it's worth, again, I'm not all up on what's legal in Canada, but I'm willing to be that if you have the slightest emissions controls or visual inspections, once all of the parts are installed and you DO run that 11 second 1/4 mile, you car wouldn't pass much of any sort of mandated testing.

Don't worry about the times, buy a FI kit and some good tires and suspension and call it a day
I'd love to buy myself an M90 as it's perfect for a stock block, but thanks to college that will have to wait a looooong time, possibly to the point where I'll have to consider if I'd rather keep it or trade it in. Every day I grow closer to wanting to keep it though.

No i dont, because if i go forged internals then I should upgrade my tranny and it gets super expensive. Im thinking i can sit around 450 rwhp and be fairly safe from what people say.

This is actually great advice. And this is why I went with the m90. Decent power but still very safe and below the danger zone.
