Exhaust question & General question
#11
I'm sorry, I explained it wrong. I am leavine the CAI and tune in place, just want to replace the mufflers. I know everyone will think I am crazy, I just want to be a bit more stealthy so I can enjoy my car without drawing unwanted attention.
How much power will I lose by going back to the stock mufflers? Any? negligible?
Thanks guys!

Yes, you do have to replace the entire handle if your main brake cable is busted. Its far more likely that the rear brake cables are busted, a known issue on these cars.
I bought a new handle for my new-to-me 05 GT and it turned out to be the rears instead. Got the GT500 Leather one, so I'm not too upset at the wasted money.

If you do have to change the handle, check out this thread, helped me quite a bit.
