Default Stang making weird noises...

Since it's gotten colder I've noticed several sounds from my car that I don't usually hear...
First is what sounds to be the suspension/tires. I have blizzaks on, which means i've got much bigger tread, and the tires are also 16", so that may be it,
but basically when I go over small bumps I hear a thumping/bump sound coming from the rear of my car..nothing bad, just unusual.

I also noticed today after leaving work, a faint whine coming from the engine bay. It almost sounded like my CAI was pulling in a bunch of air, but there was a faint whine (much like the sound from a procharger or whatever).

Also, when idling, I heard a clicking sound from the engine bay as well. Popped the hood and tracked it down to my belts/pulleys.

Any explanations? Things I should worry about? or just sounds..

it got down to -5 last night.
The car, truck and 90 year old house are making noises.
Just warm her up and be gentle with her.
I would make weird noises to after sitting outside with overnight temp of -5

I think you should stop storing dead hookers in your trunk when it's this cold... they freeze and you know how hard frozen meat is as it bounces around... Imagine throwing a frozen steak back into the freezer after digging it out and deciding to make chicken instead... Sounds just like this.... LOL...

I laughed so hard at this I had tears in my eyes. LOL!

Anyway OP, are you sure it's nothing loose in your trunk? I had a scraping/clunking noise once too and I later found out I hadn't set a few of the plastic trim "tabs" back into their holes after working on the car...

I get a slight whine too when I am going WOT (not always, but often). I chalked it down to a small opening/hole somewhere in my CAI/airbox (does it with both). Not enough to worry me, but if it gets louder I will try changing out the filter or go over the tubing/connections to check for a leak.

Overall I think my mustang hates the winter as much as I do.

Cold weather brings up lots of noises we normally don't hear during the warm season. I would just keep an ear out to make sure it's nothing awkward or the noises getting worse. Old man winter spares no one.

I stopped paying attention to noises when I got rid of the 2010. Unless the car is driving weird or its a seriously bad noise, just ignore it.
