Default Whine without the supercharger?

I know this sounds like a dumb ricer question,
but I'm curious.

I LOVE the sound of a blower, the whine in the Cobras in amazing,
since it's colder, after a cold start and semi-fast acceleration my car has a very slight whine (I'm guessing from the belt or intake), but it's so quiet it's nearly impossible to notice.

I'd love to have the sound, only a bit louder, on hard accelerations all the time..

no, not AS loud as a car with a blower...I don't want people to hear it from a block away, since obviously that would be waaay rice,

just loud enough to where I could hear it inside the car and enjoy it myself :P

thoughts? suggestions?

Only thing I could think of would be a thottle body spacer. Useless for performance, but does add a slight whistling sound. Not as loud as a blower obviously...

Only one real way to get a blower sound...

Hmmm, price isn't too bad,
how much of a whistle would it add?

I'm not really looking for performance..all I can really do for that now is throw on a blower, which i am nowhere near able to afford.

and not too loud is fine, i don't want it anywhere near as loud as a blower.

hmm, edit.
looking at videos of the whistle, it's not quite what I'm looking for..the tbspacer has a high pitched whistle,
I want more of the whine :P

hey! at least I'm not buying an exhaust mount turbo whistle off ebay for 10 bucks!
lol, I just enjoy the sound, I could care less if it's heard outside of the car. I love listening to the exhaust rev up and the slight whine and sounds from the CAI :P

I believe the part comes in that says "it's my car, I can do whatever I want".
it is for my enjoyment entirely.
A slight whine heard only in the cab doesn't seem too rice if you ask me.

Hey thats fine you're right you can do what you want its your car, but you're still a ricer.

"Hey guys I want my car to make a whining noise like a supercharger even though I don't have one"

Rice.

Rice is actually defined as adding parts to make your car LOOK faster.

Rice - Racing Inspired Cosmetic Enhancement.

Sorry, not all of us have 5 grand to drop on blowers, and we try to get as much enjoyment out of our cars with what little money we have. A sound that only I can hear in my cab is not rice.

We should have a new section for some who like rice... I tried using Google Translate to convert "As rice as I want to be" into Japanese... Here is the result: 私がなりたいと米などの

However, when I went from Japanese to Engrish, it translates as "I want such as rice and". My translate-fu sux. Sorry. Premise is people with rice tendencies can share their ideas of how to rice up a Mustang... LOL...

As far as supercharger whine, I agree with 2005Redfire6 in that this is a ricey thing to do... However, just like you said, it's your car to do with as you please... It's also our right to call you out on it since you started the thread in the first place... Jus' sayin'. No one is trying to butthertcha...

BTW, I like my share of rice. This is just one I can't get on board with. If you like the sound so much, perhaps create a sound loop of a S/C Cobra and play that on the CD player for your enjoyment.
