16k down, 350 x 72 @ 2.5%. 11 GT Vert Premium. Will write a check eventually to kill it early.

Don't get sucked into monthly payment. You are the only one who needs to know what your monthly budget needs to be.

Exactly! Always deal price. You should have an idea going in what kind of price will get you what type of monthly note. Don't give them the chance of trying to hide $$ somewhere within your payment.

Figure if you finance 18k @ 60 months, that's 300/mo. Remember, that's 18k after all fees, tax etc.

I also deal on the new car first, get my best price that satisfies me, THEN I tell them I have a trade.

I always try and put 1/3 down and pay off asap i.e. 25 months on the latest one

I put down 14k and I'm still shelling out 500 a month........but it's all in what you want.

I had $2800 in equity from my G35 sedan so that was my down payment. Then I got $1500 in rebates and got it for dealer invoice. I walked out the door with it for $31800 (taxes included). I financed it at 1.9% for 72 months. Payments are $470 so yeah I still have a long way to go too
