Default picked up my '05 GT vert today...couple questions

Hey Guys, just picked up this car today:

Loaded, bone stock, five speed, 89,000 kms (55,000 miles), mineral grey, paid $11,500...I'm pretty stoked. Couple quick questions:

- I'd like to add some sort of conditioner to the rag top as a protectant and to make it look a little fresher. Any recommendations?

- I want some nicer floor mats that look a little richer - is there a good place online?

- For mods - I'm think strut tower brace and exhaust right out of the gates...is there any other low-hanging inexpensive mod-fruit I should do right away?

Thanks!

A CAI and a tune...but that is about $600 or so....that is not inexpensive, but a very noticeable difference....

Sounds sick, although mine isn't a GT500. I'm sure it'll sound deadly on the 4.6, too.

Checking out the floor mats now. Not a huge fan of lowering vehicles so will probably leave it stock height. I may get 18" rims, though, and that could force me to lower the car if it looks ghey with the new wheels.

Thanks guys.

Nice bro! From what I've heard strut tower braces are only for looks on the S197's. +1 to Koni and Steeda if you want it to handle. Steeda Sport springs don't lower it very much.

Also intake/tune. Intake makes it sound soooooooooooo much better.

tint the windows you dont have the back glass to worry about on a vert and the door windows are easy to do cost around 20-30 bucks. and a chin spoiler gives it a much more agressive look BTW love the color.

Sweet! Nice ride.

Think hard before going to 18's. I have 18's and I think the 17's on my g/f's Pony have more attitude due to the added sidewall. Either way, the wheel well gap will be the same.

CAI & custom tune from AM for about 20-25 RWHP gain is a MUST first mod.

You'll also want to get familiar with the TSB's listed in the stickies, and pay particular attention to the one for the chronic water leak.

You can pick up vinyl racing stripes for around 100 bucks on ebay and FYI I hit a deer a few weeks ago and am getting a new hood installed I'll have a Roush hood scoop in your color I'll sell you for 100 +shipping if you are interested. here's a picture of my car before the accident to give you an idea.
