huh.... i also think i had some too... i would think ambient lighting, but that was after 06, could b sensors if u have a manual for an auto...

well i gotta poke around in my console to solder my bypass relay<went the lazy route on it first time, dont ask me why iunno>
May take a pic of them while im at it and see what you think.
Could be for the auto since im a manual.

heres the mystery connector in my center console. Sounds about right it could connect to auto since im a manual but not sure

Lem - do you have manual or automatic? If you have a manual then my guess is that is for the automatic.

It is for automatic as I have one and that plug plugs into the base of the gear shifter for whatever purpose that thing serves.

Back to the topic though, I am assuming OP has abandoned us, here is a good thread involving OEM heated seats.

It would be complicated to add the OEM stuff because apparently ford has a box under the dash that cars with non heated seats do not have. Here 157db's post where he explains it very well.
