Yeah I really can't stand working with dealerships. I'm curious what preliminary pricing they will give me, no way im paying invoice for that one dont worry. They offered invoice on a new one off the lot. I dont have a whole lot of faith in them though, probably wont be worth it.

I wouldnt throw in the towel just yet. I bought my 2010 for 24 out the door and got 16k in trade for me 06. I just simply said I don't need this car that's been sitting on your lot for over a year and started to walk out. That was mid-February though when they have to clear out stock or Ford apparently will not let them order new models based on the number of slots that they are allocated for a certain model.

I'd go with the 2012 the wife's been driving and push them hard if you like the car. Good price reduction plus has the 2011's issues resolved.Erik

Can't tell you what to do but can relate my experience.

Mine was a left over 05GT Premium that window stickered over 28k. Got it in Jan 07 for $22,400 with 1022 miles on it. Seems like the same story as the 2011 you're looking at like.

Felt I got a good deal and don't regret it for a minute. Good luck on getting the car you want!

"Invoice" pricing is so common nowadays, that it really doesn't mean much... Go to Truecar.com and research the actual dealer cost, which is not the same as the "invoice" they claim? Invoice will not show dealer hold backs, etc.

Good luck,
Don

Unaware of this!!!! TSB for fluid in the trans. I wouldn't call this A fixed problem.
2011 to 2012 there basically the same minus the rear backup sensors, there is nothing different about them.

Yeah, there are some minor options such as steering changes and a built in garage door opener, but its about the same. There are still some 2012's out there with crappy MT-82s

That garage door option seems to be a waste of money to me. They don't tell you that it only works with certain openers.

they were not done on all units just tsb's on ones brought in with problems pertaining to certain issues.. otherwise there would be recalls on all 2011-2012 mt82 trans.. A tsb does not mean they made the changes in the factory or anything different just band-aids to fix the trans issues!
