Hey i am a noob to this tune your CAI. Ive installed them but never knew you had to tune them, had them in my truck, which explains why i never noticed that much of a difference.
How exactly do you tune one? Ive seen like a flash programmer recommended but wouldn't know how about to go in starting to do this. I want to order a bbk with tuner. Does it come with instructions or anything or am i already suppose to know wth im doing lol.

If you buy a tuner from americanmuscle, you'll need to know your computer code (found on the side of your pcm) and a knowledge of the other mods you have on the car. Then you'll tell them what kind of tunes do you want? Upon my last check 4 years ago when I bought my cai/tuner, they had 87 street, 91 performance, and 93 race. Its up to you what kind of tunes you'd like, but I believe you get three to start with and can be eligible for free updated tunes for life... if I'm wrong, someone correct me here.

Hey new to this forum any advice is appreciated. I have a 2005 mustang gt, pretty stock minus the JBA axle backs. I have a few extra bucks and want to invest in a CAI. I've been looking at K&N, BBK, Roush, and Airaid. I don't know much about any of these, does anyone have or know anything about these..?
