American Muscle has some slotted rotors for a good price, that along with some Hawk pads would make for a good DD combo. I know that's what I'm going to when it comes time.

Be careful because the V6s need a caliper bracket that Ford no longer makes. The new piece is a 2 piece design that costs 4 times as much, and pretty much nowhere still stocks the old one. When I upgraded my brakes I went with slotted and drilled rotors from sdmustangaccessories.com and HPS pads and they work way better then stock ever did.

If you don't need anything over stock just go back with the stock rotors and some upgraded brake pads (Hawk or the equivalent). Slotted rotors would be better as it will keep the pad clean of dust, drilled tbh is kinda useless. If your rotors are heating up to the point where they need to be drilled you are probably being too hard on the brakes or you are doing something like autocross and should probably get a brake cooling kit.

Slotted is OK at least in my opinion, drilled is useless as the holes don't help cool the rotor as much as they increase the chance for hairline fractures to develope in the rotor.

Agree with the above responses. It depends on how you're driving.

I got my EBC slotted and dimpled rotors and pads from amazon.com. Free shipping too, and those rotors are quite heavy. They also sell Hawk pads.

I got my DBA rotors and hawk pads from American Muscle, and then valvoline synthetic dot 4 brake fluid from Napa

The install was fairly easy so if you have the tools and a helper then I'd vote for diy

True, on a V6 that isn't tracked the drilled rotors don't really help much, but I could have gotten almost the exact same rotors minus the drilling for the same price, and I gotta say, the drilled rotors look pretty great. Really it is just an aesthetics thing at that point.
