Brenspeed Cool Car #1, Vortech Supercharged 06 GT
This is a pretty cool Mustang of N. Huys of Indiana. The engine features our Brenspeed polished V3 supercharger package and a set of Pypes headers and a Pypes H-pipe. The car is lowered with a set of Steeda Ultralight springs and runs a CDC classic chin spoiler on the front.
Our Brenspeed V3 supercharger package is an easy way to add roughly 150 flywheel HP to your 3V Mustang. Huys went with polished as during the summer he loves to hit the car shows. The factory exhaust was not aggressive enough sounding for him so we installed a set of 304 stainless polished Pypes long tube headers with the matching stainless H-pipe. Our Pypes package includes all the necessary hardware and comes in at a great price so you won’t break the bank yet add an easy 20+ HP.
Huys wanted a little better stance out of his stang so we went with the Steeda Ultralight springs. They ride very close to stock but drop the car about 1.25 inches and take some of the gap out between the tire and wheel well. If you are looking for a more firm ride the Steeda sport springs are a good option and lower the car about the same amount.
To get the front of this Mustang looking more aggressive we went with a CDC Classic chin spoiler. It does a good job of setting your Mustang apart from others that have not added an aftermarket chin spoiler.
Next on Huys list is a set of Race Star Dark Star wheels that we are installing this week along with a Speed of Sound gauge pod including a Boost and Air/Fuel gauge.
In the end Huys put together a pretty sweet Mustang. It’s making just over 500 flywheel horsepower on a pretty good budget and looks sweet as well. We will be posting these types of cool car posts all year so you can see what’s going on in our installation facility and check out some cool pictures of aftermarket parts from a lot of different manufactures. Thanks for reading and don't forget we always post cool video's on www.brenspeed.com every week so check in often!

This is a non intercooled kit that pushes 8psi of boost. The tune is setup (just like any other tunes) to pull timing if IATs get too hot, but in all honesty they stay rather cool as long as the ambient temp isnt too hot. This kit is also upgradable, in that you can add the vortech air to air or air to water intercooler setup if you want to down the road (which runs 10psi).
