Just wanted to know if i purchase a 2012 gt500 bumper will it bolt up to a 2012 GT with no other mods. or is the brackets different. because i can just buy the bumper and grilles through the dealer cheaper. But idk if i need different brackets or other parts. Can anyone help.

There are a lot of supplemental parts you'd need if it's anything like the '05-09 swap. Check the sticky. For starters you'll need headlights, fogs, different grille, hood, etc...

i have the hood. the headlights are the same on the new body style just different inside guts. so i didnt know if i could just buy the bumper and grilles, fog lights, and then bolt it on or if the brackets and stuff r dif.

Not sure. I was just throwing out suggestions from the '05-09 swap when I spoke of parts you might need. Hope someone else can help you out. My best idea would be to talk with the shop manager at your local Ford dealership. He'd at least be able to give you a parts list most likely.

I'm pretty sure it the GT500 bumper will mount on the GT fine. But I think the biggest expense wiill be buying the new hood to fit the bumper.

I got the hood for free from a buddy. so i was just going to buy the bumper and fog lights, and grilles and doit. I just want to make sure i dont need special brackets for it to mount up right or if the stock brackets r the same as the gt500.
