Default Today I bought my second Mustang Gt

So now I'm a official forum member since I bought and picked up this morning a 2012 GT Premium with the 401A package and automatic. The car is Ingnot Silver so I was thinking my fist mod other then the exhaust that will be done in the morning is paint the rear spoiler gloss black and maybe but the gloss blk stripe on the hood like the 2012 Boss has. No I'm not going for a Boss clone but just want to change it up a bit from stock. Ill take any more inexpensive mods for now, thanks...

Yes, love the 5.0 I had gone with the 2010 because it was a leftover and the 11's were out.
I NAVE NO PLANS TO DRAG RACE this car so it was no big deal that it was not a 5.0
In the morning I'll get me some new exhaust with a Flowmaster Axle back set up also I herd and CAI would be a waiste of money, true or false ?

OH YA regular gas or Premium ?

To get the most output from the engine you need to use premium. When you use regular the engine computer retards the engine timing among other things that reduces the output from 412 to 402 hp.

In all honesty, it is pretty well established that the CAI by itself without a tune will add only a maginal improvement in HP, and that the majority of power comes from the actual tune, which adjusts timing and other parameters to make more safe power, as well as adjusts shifting characteristics for automatics and improves overall throttle response.

There are many great companies that tune the 5.0, so I'm sure you'll figure out who to go with through your own research.

The long and short is CAI sans tune is not worth it. Tune and CAI or Tune only is definitely worth it.
