borla ATAK vs borla S-TYPE cat back
Hay guys!
Looking at buy new CAT BACK for my 2010 stang. I've narrowed it down to the atak or s-type but want to hear feed back from people that have heard them or have them installed. They both seem to be amazing thats why its hard to pick one lol Want to make sure to pick the right one as they are a little pricey.

I have the s type and my friend has the Borla atak haha.
I love the stype because its not that loud when just cruising but when you accelerate or STOMP on it my god does it scream!
The atak is loud ALL the time from stop to floored haha
I prefer the stype just because its not insane loud but you def get the point across, iv been heard a mile or 2 from my house with the s type haha.
Youll love either one you choose!
Both of them are quite loud with the entire system with the x pipe

I have the ATAK and don't regret getting it even a little bit! From start up, to cruise speeds, to full throttle, it is allll amazing! I guess it depends on where you live, how much you will be driving it, how often are people in your car, do you like it to be aggressive most of the time or only when you are on it? It's not that bad at idle or cruising speeds but when you are on it it gets pretty loud! Sometimes I don't think I realize how loud it is when I'm driving cause I can't really hear it all that bad inside the car but then I see everyone's heads turning my way haha! S
S-Type and ATAK are the same sound level as far as db go but the gurgle of the exhaust when decelerating and idle is much different. In my opinion the s-type is a little more high pitch than the ATAK and I didn't like that. Borlas video is pretty amazing for that as far as comparison.

The exhausts are much different from the 2010 vs the 2011+'s. I had the Stypes on my 2010 without my longtubes and o/r x they were extremely quiet IMHO. Only just a tad deeper but not much louder. Here is what my car sounded like with Pypes longtubes, o/r x, and Borla stingers (s types)
